Three-year-old Shivanshi Kapoor is a sweet little girl who has gone through a complex health challenge at this tender age. For the last few months, Shivanshi has experienced heavy breathing, and a bluish tint would appear on her nails which was a sign that something was
seriously wrong. Concerned, her family initially took her to a local hospital for consultation.
The doctors there referred them to PGIMER Chandigarh for a more detailed evaluation. Blood tests and an echocardiography revealed the diagnosis that Shivanshi had complex Cyanotic heart disease, a serious condition that affects the flow of oxygen in the blood and
requires immediate medical intervention.
The news came as a challenge for them, and they were completely shattered. But a ray of hope came unexpectedly. While their visit at the hospital, they met someone who gave the reference of Dr. Kohli. With renewed hope, Shivanshi’s parents reached out to CHF, where they found the guidance and support, they desperately needed. Dr. Kohli then conducted a thorough assessment of Shivanshi’s condition and recommended BD GLENN as the treatment for her disease. On 20th Dec 2024, she got admitted to Indraprastha Apollo hospital, New Delhi where the procedure was performed with precision and care, and Shivanshi came through it successfully. She is steadily recovering towards betterment. Shivanshi’s parents are forever grateful to the team at CHF and Dr. Kohli for their unwavering support and expertise.
