Support a Child

Pt. Abu Talha

Abu Talha’s Fight for Life: Hope Restored

Abu Talha, a 1-year, 10-month-old from Aligarh, faced a life-threatening diagnosis of Tetralogy of Fallot (ToF). His symptoms—fever and a frightening blue discoloration—sent his family scrambling for help. Abu Talha’s mother, a widow raising four children with no stable income, found herself unable to afford the critical, specialized heart surgery he urgently needed.

His journey led him to the Child Heart Foundation (CHF). Recognizing the family's dire financial and emotional situation, CHF immediately mobilized support, securing crucial funding through their dedicated CSR partner, CBRE.

This partnership led to a lifeline:

First Surgery (August 8th): Abu Talha successfully underwent his initial, complex heart surgery for ToF.

Second Surgery (September 2nd): During follow-up, complications were detected, requiring immediate intervention. CHF and CBRE ensured he received a second successful surgery to stabilize his condition.

Today, thanks to the swift, life-saving intervention and the sustained support from CHF and CBRE, Abu Talha is on the path to recovery. His story is a powerful testament to how this collaboration brought hope back to a devastated family, giving a young boy a future he otherwise would never have had.
