Vinit, born through a normal delivery, was first diagnosed with congenital heart disease (CHD) during infancy. He showed signs of cyanosis, but despite several visits to local doctors in his village, the cause remained undetected. Eventually, at Madan Mohan Hospital, a doctor suspected CHD and referred him to Dr. Kohli. An echocardiogram confirmed the diagnosis (TOF) and the family learned that Vinit would require three surgeries.
In 2017, Vinit underwent his first surgery (BT shunt) at Max Hospital, which was a success. After years of regular follow-ups, his second surgery a complete TOF repair was performed in 2021. This too was successful, and Vinit began attending school, playing with friends, and living an active life.
During a routine follow-up, doctors noticed narrowing in his left pulmonary artery (LPA) and recommended a cardiac catheterization. On 10th July 2025, Vinit underwent an angiography at Apollo Hospital. The procedure went well, and he is now recovering steadily.
